More cheese please!

Many 1930's panels sought to reassure people with a cosy view of the world. A little slice of a make believe world to guard the entrance to your home. Windmills, streams and cottages were a favourite..

Original 30's panel siliconed to board by emergency glazier - a challenge to remove!

A rubbing is taken of the leadwork.

Dismantling the panel, keeping broken shapes intact.

Releading the panel with newly cut replacements to the broken pieces.

Panel recemented and buffed up.

Beautiful textured glass detail.

More snapshots of a rural idyll to imagine you might enter!
