Stained glass is a great opportunity to create something meaningful to you. The Victorian house below belongs to a mathematician. The 2 diamond shapes are called Penrose Tiling named after their inventor Sir Roger Penrose a mathematician and philosopher of science. The 2 shapes form a pattern that can vary endlessly (although the section we chose is fairly symmetrical!).
Penrose Tiling in the fanlight, Victorian diamond pattern down the sides.
Diamonds link in with entrance tiles.
Variable pattern with 3d effect in the fanlight.
A slightly more traditional spin for the door panels with sparkly faceted jewels in the centre of the Penrose Tiling - a little detail Sir Penrose must have overlooked!
