We have 2 Open Studios per year, next one in December. There is an enormous variety of talent here; metal workers, weavers, leather workers, wood turners, jewellers, ceramicists, luthiers, bow restorer, fused glass, interior products e.g. light shades, cushions etc. It's a great way to try out ideas and display work in progress. The images below show Glass Maids fused / stained glass combo. Glass Maids is a collaboration with Sue King where we set Sue's vibrant and colourful pieces in vintage textured backgrounds. Our current range includes lollies, cakes, fruit, veg and cocktails. More work can be seen here; http://suekingglass.co.uk/tipsy-glass/ . The black and white / textured glasses panels are part of a new range of free hanging panels inspired by the amazing Louis Barillet. The robot began life as a sketch by Matt Nicholls. To see more of Matts amazing creative work click here; http://www.mattnichollsdesigns.com/index.htm. The number 60 is a customers door panel; work in progress. The last image shows work for the artist Terry Scales http://www.blueforce.demon.co.uk/terry.scales/. The print shows a painting entitled The Night Watchman, that was stolen from an art gallery in the 1950's and shows it's recreation in glass, cut and ready for painting.
