The Tail of Amazing Mr Fox!

A beautiful fox was settled into a garden in Lewisham, London.

Sadly after some building works the fox moved on and became a less frequent visitor. The fox was greatly missed and so the homeowners looked for another way to remember him. On the internet they came across a beautiful illustration by Warren Austin...

Like their fox this fox captured that look of  'your world might be over there but I've got my own business to conduct!'. Inspired by this design and with Warren's permission a door set was created...

The panels are a mix of handmade and textured glasses old and new, here's the blue phase...

Just soldered...

The panels incorporate cast glass swirls, faceted jewels, lenses and roundels...

The door was routered out by carpenter Phil Charles to create extra depth...

The panel was fitted with supporting glass at the front and shaped bar on the inside...

If you too have been smitten by Mr Fox, Warren sells these badges that are available on his website.
